Dr Sanjana P completed her M.S Ophthalomology at S.D.M medical college, Dharwad, Karnataka followed by extensive surgical training and Fellowship at Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore in 2019.
Dr Sanjana worked as Consultant, Cornea Refractive and Cataract Surgeon at Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research institute, Thiruvalla for 4 years. She was the lead Cornea surgeon at the institute and performed wide range of procedures which included corneal full thickness PKP and lamellar transplantation( DSEK /DALK), complex key hole cataract surgeries, collagen cross linking for keratoconus disease, ocular surface reconstruction like Simple limbal epithelial transplantation/amniotic membrane grafting for pterygium, refractive surgeries like ICL/LASIK during her tenure .

Her special interests are

corneal infections, dry eye management, managing allergic eye diseases, keratoconus, corneal tattoo, advanced lamellar corneal transplantation ( DALK/DSEK), laser based cataract and refractive surgeries, ocular trauma management, ocular surface disease management. She has multiple publication at state and National levels . She has been invited as a guest speaker to multiple state and national level conferences .
