Dr Agarwals, Chromepet branch is the one place to go for availing hassle-free and best eye care and treatment. Here we have done cataract surgeries for both eyes of my mother . After enrolling the patient’s name,various preliminary checks and tests are conducted and the doctor reviews and explains us the problem and its treatment. Then a counselling is given for the patient by the councellors present and the surgery date is fixed. The councellors clearly explain the different lenses and packages available for the cataract issue and help to choose the one that suits us better . A set of tests are taken two days before the surgery and a fitness certificate is obtained from the physician. Then pre operation medication is to be followed till surgery, and post operation medicines to be availed from their pharmacy. We can also purchase black glass and specs from the optical section on the same floor. The surgery process is displayed on the monitor kept inside the operation theatre and can be seen through the fixed glass window by attenders of the patient . As a special mention, Prof Dr.S.Venkatesh takes great care in analysing and explaining the problem and is very gentle and polite with everyone. All the staffs are very much cooperative and provide better guidance and moral support for patients and their associates. The place has a neat and calm ambiance and is maintained well. The house keeping staffs are also very much helpful . Overall a good management team,headed by the best doctor. One suggestion would be to include a small cafeteria or some coffee/ tea vending machines inside the premise in future for patients and visitors. Best wishes for the entire team!

I visited the hospital for eye sight problem and headache. The Doctor and the staffs were so caring and listened to the problem carefully and diagnosed the issue. The doctor explained the issue in detail and the probable reasons behind it. All the staffs were so polite especially Ms.Vishnu Priya was so humble and patiently listened to the problems and did all the tests.

Well trained team on eyecare. good guidance by staff. One great quality/attribute of the team leader is that he reviews the performance of the staff swiftly for appreciation/ improvement. Real motivation!! Only one area of improvement is on the pharmacy/ medicines side. Billing is done on MRP. Instead appropriate discount need to be offered to patients, as all pharmacies are offering medicines under discount currently. Also, nowadays, same medicines with better price are available on line. Procurement of such less priced medicines need to be stocked & given to patients. Management to look into this, as an additional area of service. Looking for forward action plan on my suggestion on medicines

Doctor is superb! We have glaucoma complaint for a long time. Dedicated and keen approach by the Dr. S Venkatesh is the reason my mother has vision and it improved also, as a rare case. Staff and facilities are very good.
