OCT is a non-invasive tool that takes a photograph of the retina
The fundus camera takes photographs of the interior parts of the eye so that the doctor can examine structures such as optic disc, retina and the lens
This investigation enables detailed understanding of anterior cornea surface, posterior corneal surface, thickness and surface power
Perimetry is an eye examination that can detect problems in central and peripheral vision which may be caused by various medical conditions such as glaucoma, brain tumours or neurological problems
Specular microscopy is a non-invasive photographic technique that allows to visualize and analyze the corneal endothelium
This is a non invasive method to get high resolution 3D imaging of the cornea and the anterior segment
Don’t dilate & drive !
For better and accurate test results, the doctor may ask your pupils to be dilated by putting eye drops. Please note that dilation makes your eyes more sensitive to light and you may not be able to drive for a few hours post dilation. So please plan your trip accordingly
Listen carefully to post-op care !
Make sure that you follow post-op care instructions as this will ensure that your recovery period is short
