I got the cataracts of both eye of my sister operated by Dr Ankita Mulchandani and it was a smooth experience as the doctor and staff guided us through the whole process in a diligent manner. Some of the things that I really liked here was 1. Dr Ankita suggested the right lens for the patient even though costlier options were available. Builds trust. 2. The staff here are proficient in their duty and carries a smile. Welcoming. 3. The operation is streamed live. Transparency Kudos to all the docs and staff! ( pre-operation vs post operation) 👇

The doctors and the staff are some of the best I’ve experienced in Mumbai. Very professional, courteous and over-the-top kind to their patients. Extremely grateful to Dr. Abhijeet, Dr. Ankita and Dr. Sonal. Vruddhi, Neha, Priyanka, Sarika, Pratibha and Diksha. Anyone within a 5 km radius of Mary Immaculate school, Borivali, must visit Doctor Abhijeet Desai's Sohum Eye Care for any eye related issue. Without doubt. Dr. Desai is a gold medallist and also a gem of a person. He empathizes with every patient patiently and clears all doubts. I have visited another very thriving eye clinic near Chamunda circle twice and found Dr. Desai's clinic much much cleaner and hygienic. I am a 70 year old male with decades old history of poorly managed diabetes - by choice. I have been visiting Dr. Desai for my annual checkup since way back in 2005, when he was operating out of a smaller location near Bhagwati Hospital. I have seen him move to the present location near Mary Immaculate school, continuously upgrade existing instruments as well as add more modern equipment/treatments. Rare to see a doctor with such a dedicated focus on quality patient service. He is certainly not after money. For several years he has been cautioning me about an early stage cataract, but has never suggested an operation.
